Launches & Groundbreakings
Orlando Magic's Amway Center

We produced a unique Media/VIP Groundbreaking Celebration for the NBA’s Orlando Magic new home arena, featuring a massive stage, a re-creation of the basketball court in its exact 'spot-to-be,' and a 4-square-block rapid chase of giant tethered balloons and pyrotechnics outlining the future shape of the entire venue. We followed that celebration up with subsequent media events, such as the Venue Naming Celebration and the Topping Off Ceremony.
JetBlue Airways

We’ve produced several high-profile Launch Events for JetBlue Airways, most recently in their JFK (NYC) hangar. Following speeches by Dave Barger (JetBlue President and CEO) and Woody Johnson (New York Jets Chairman and CEO), we instantly (via a massive kabuki drop) revealed a full-size, one-of-a-kind, New York Jets-themed A320 Airbus Jet to hundreds of JetBlue and NY Jets executives, employees, VIPs, and former Jets players.
Florida Hospital Ginsburg Tower
(See 'Mega-Celebrations' for Grand Opening)

Three years prior to the producing the Grand Opening of this property, we created a stirring Groundbreaking Event on the lot where the building would soon take shape. After emotional speeches were presented and videos rolled, we utilized a children’s processional and choir, which segued into a group of former Florida Hospital patients lighting a “ring of fire” around the perimeter of what would become this state-of-the-art tower. This launched a dramatic pyrotechnic salute, choreographed to a custom music track.
Disney Magic Port Arrival & Maiden Voyage

Partnering with Walt Disney Entertainment, we created and directed the USA Arrival and Maiden Voyage Celebrations for Disney's first cruise ship, the
Disney Magic. With tremendous land, sea, and aerial media coverage of this enormous event at Port Canaveral, we directed everything from the ship’s positioning for media to pyrotechnics to ship passenger choreography.
Seven years later, we created and directed Disney Cruise Line’s Inaugural West Coast event at the Port of Los Angeles, as the first Disney cruise ship set sail in the Pacific.
Tampa Bay Rays

This Major League Baseball team hired us to help them launch their new name and identity with a bang. We produced a public celebration that included their new logo unveiling, a team uniform fashion show featuring the players, a concert starring Kevin Costner and his band, and a pyrotechnic finale capped off with a spectacular logo burn showcasing their new name.
Olympic Games’ Torch Relays

We’ve produced massive celebrations for the Summer Games and Winter Games, as the Olympic Torch entered the City of Orlando. The events, enjoyed by tens of thousands of attendees, featured hundreds of performers, celebrity torchbearers, choreographed kite boats, drum corps, fireworks, pyrotechnic kites, and the Olympic Flame itself, all broadcast live, via ten cameras, on select NBC TV stations.
City of Orlando's New Year's Eve Millennium Spectacular

We produced the official City of Orlando Celebration to usher in the new millennium for the Mayor and 45,000 community guests. The evening-long event featured 130 musicians and theatre performers, and a 20-minute fireworks show digitally-synced and choreographed to a live performance by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.
Florida Hospital’s 100th Anniversary Celebration

We produced Florida Hospital’s 100
th Anniversary Celebration in conjunction with the Grand Opening of their Ginsburg Tower, bringing the new building to life with a unique combination of show elements: 420 programmable LED lights which were pixel-mapped to create a building-sized, custom-animated light show, synced to orchestral music, voiceovers, lasers, and pyrotechnics. The event was launched with a 100-beat custom video countdown, ten fanfare trumpeters performing inches from the edge of the 15
th floor rooftop, and high-profile dignitary presentations.

The Mall at Millenia

We produced the Grand Opening of this luxury center, featuring retailers such as Bloomingdale's, Gucci, Macy's, Neiman Marcus, and Tiffany & Co. Kodak Keynote Show at Comdex

We were hired by Kodak to produce their CEO’s keynote segment for this major tech industry media conference in Las Vegas. Kodak made it clear they wanted anything but a standard presentation for this 4,000-person audience. Within the CEO’s presentation, we therefore created everything from touching 'Kodak-style' videos to eccentric comedic sketches, all helping drive home their various message points.
For the finale, we created an original gospel version of 'True Colors,' which was performed by an 'attendee' (actually a professional gospel singer planted among the attendees), along with a 400-member choir also secretly dispersed throughout the audience. Kodak submitted the production to the Public Relations Society of America and won the top national award.

Walt Disney World Hotel Resorts

Walt Disney Entertainment has hired us to help create numerous media events for the grand openings of various Disney hotel resorts. We chose Apollo 13's Jim Lovell to serve as the Master of Ceremonies for this once-in-a-lifetime event, which featured the largest gathering of Apollo astronauts in history. In this room full of VIPs, including John Glenn, Buzz Aldrin and Walter Cronkite, we brought the audience back to the space program atmosphere of the late ‘60s, through everything from emotional presentations to gripping original videos to live performances.

Winter Park Memorial Hospital 50th Anniversary Celebration

We created a unique 50
th Anniversary event for Winter Park Memorial Hospital in 2005. The event began outdoors with an opening reception that took guests back to 1955. From actual 1955 classic automobiles to movie posters to themed actors, the surrounding environment was, in every sense, 50 years prior. A “newspaper boy” announcing the launch of the hospital then ushered guests into a black box soundstage at Universal Studios for the main program.
The theme was 'Current Day', as the event now celebrated 2005 and the hospital’s anniversary. With elements such as custom ice walls, 50
th anniversary gold-speckled floors, a hip modern big band, themed human tables, and exploding confetti centerpieces, guests were 'in the now' for dinner and presentations. When they stepped back outside for the dessert reception, what had been 1955 was now 50 years into the future — the year 2055. A fun 'future look' of the hospital and community surrounded the attendees in every way for an uplifting and cheerful sendoff.
Florida National Guard Homecoming

In a baseball stadium brimming with patriotic colors and sounds, we were hired by Disney’s Wide World of Sports to welcome back thousands of troops from Iraq. With proud families filling the stands, we supported the emotional swell with a delicate mix of patriotic ceremony and entertainment.

AAA/Disney Travel Agent Shows

Partnering with Walt Disney Marketing, we created numerous original incentive events for clients such as AAA and related travel agent groups, ranging from themed concerts to elaborate game shows to all-encompassing adventures. For ten years, we helped UCP create and produce the organization's most successful annual fundraiser, with guest performers such as Andrea McArdle (Annie), Davis Gaines (Phantom of the Opera), and Cheryl Hines (HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm).
Official Disneyana Convention

We were hired by Walt Disney Entertainment multiple years to help create these entertainment extravaganzas for Disney fans from around the globe. Shows involved dozens of actors, singers, dancers, musicians, and favorite Disney celebrities such as Susan Egan (Belle in Broadway’s
Beauty and the Beast), Kathryn Beaumont (the voice of Alice in 1951’s
Alice in Wonderland), and the original Mousketeers. After securing permission from Roy Disney, we also created and staged The Walt Disneys Company's first-ever live stage portrayal of Walt Disney himself.

The Mall at Millenia

We produce The Mall at Millenia’s annual 'Santa’s Arrival' event, an outdoor winter wonderland attended by thousands of guests ready to launch their holiday season. The evening begins with a host of elaborately-costumed actors and themed atmosphere performers interacting with attendees. During this, spinning holiday gobos dance on the buildings as our DJ engages the little ones with her holiday dance party from the decked-out stage.
As the evening progresses, all eyes move to the mall rooftop, where Santa appears from the sky. He then lights the Christmas tree with a flurry of rooftop pyrotechnics, and magically arrives on the stage to sing some songs and begin meeting and greeting the kids.
999 Happy Haunts

Disney hired us to help create a series of over-the-top Halloween events at the Magic Kingdom
® Park. These after-hours, closed-park affairs began with a surreal yet elegant dinner in The Haunted Mansion
®. Once on the streets of the Magic Kingdom
® Park, guests found themselves surrounded by surprises such as 30 wildly-themed creepy comedic actors, a Headless Horseman (on an actual galloping horse), and rapidly-decaying Walt Disney World Ambassadors. (These were the company’s actual Ambassadors, who decomposed during the event.) To bring the night to a “final end,” guests rode in black stretch limousines for a slow funeral procession down Main Street U.S.A. Exiting the limos, the guests spotted vaporous hitchhiking ghosts waving goodbye from the above the train station.
Downtown Disney® Area

We were brought in by Walt Disney Entertainment to help create and direct dozens of holiday festivals and annual events at the Downtown Disney

Finale of Noel's Christmas Presents

We were brought in by Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts to help create a stirring finale for this national BBC-TV special that airs after the Queen's Christmas Speech each year. The true story surrounded a young British girl with a terminal illness, whose wish it was to visit Walt Disney World. The girl and her family arrived at Epcot
© late at night, where we welcomed them with a variety of touching tributes, capped off with Mickey Mouse presenting the girl with a white rose.
